Mary Louise always considered her paintings her children and the themes of many of her sketches and paintings reflect the innocence of childhood. Her landscapes reflect a very bold and distinctive style and her fashion illustrations are dazzeling, harkening back to a time when illustration in fashion advertising was the norm and giving us a vision of fashion styles from a by-gone era.
