Custom Canvas Masterpieces

Stunning Canvas Art

from your Photographs

Convert your negative, slide, digital file or good quality photograph, into long lasting, quality artwork that you and your loved ones will cherish for a lifetime.

The Product

Your photograph is reproduced on high quality canvas. The canvas is then stretched on wooden stretcher bars in either a traditional wrap, where the image does not wrap around the sides, or a gallery wrap, where the image wraps around the side of a thicker stretcher bar and is stapled on the back. Both styles can be hung as is, although framing completes the masterpiece. Ask our design consultant to show you how your image will look framed. (see images below)
The printed canvas is treated with a UV protective coating to help resist fading. Keep in mind that anything will fade when exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

Enhancements

During the reproduction process, we can manually make improvements to photographs that contain minor damage, such as minor scratches and creases. Minor enhancements to photos to improve the quality of the reproduction are provided at no additional cost to you. Photos that are more seriously damaged and requests for alterations will be assessed on a case by case basis and may require additional fees. Please see the Photo Restoration section for more information. Color photos can be converted to Black and White or Sepia tones (antique brown) at no additional charge.

Your Images

We can create your Canvas Masterpiece from your photograph, 35 mm slide or negative or digital file. Photographs should be of good quality for best results. With digital images, the larger the file, the better. When taking digital images, use the largest format settings on your camera. File size is a good indicator of the resolution of the image. You can generally expect great results from files larger than 1 MB in size.
Digital images can easily be sent to us by e-mail. Save your image as a 300 dpi JPEG using the highest quality and lowest compression settings. Images can be sent to
canvas@westonframing.com.
